Ruth's Chris Steak House Sizzling Celebrity Golf Classic
benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Maryland Chapter
A cloudy but rain-free Tuesday, September 22nd, marked the 12th Annual Ruth's Chris Steak House Sizzling Celebrity Golf Classic, which was held at Chestnut Ridge Country Club.
Sports and entertainment figures from all around Baltimore teamed
up to help make the tournament a sizzling success.
Proceeds from the event benefited The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Maryland Chapter which is dedicated to curing Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma, and Hodgkin's disease and to improving the lives of
patients and their families.
This year's event raised $220,000 and proceeds will be used to support
20 researchers working right here in Maryland to keep hope alive
for children and adults who are battling leukemia, lymphoma and
other blood-related cancers.
With this year's success, the tournament is pleased to have
raised over $2.4 million.
